Ball Nut
$60
For the slim and grim. Invented in 1987 by John Middendorf and originally brought to market as Lowe Balls, these have become the secret weapon of many aid and trad climbers. These little wonders will work in small parallel-sided cracks where the only other option is pounding a piton. Ball Nuts also work in pin scars and small flares where even modern micro cams simply won’t fit. Since they weigh so little, many advanced trad climbers keep a #2 and #3 on their rack at all times.
The smallest active protection in the world!
Color-coded for fast identification
Narrow depth fits shallower cracks than traditional camming unit

Corner Piton
$18
Most pitons rely on compression of the metal and leverage from directional pull for their holding power. The U shape of the shaft on the Corner piton adds an additional holding force by creating spring tension when the piton is driven into a crack proportionately smaller than its width.

Corsa Nanotech Axe
$200
The Corsa Nanotech is the most advanced mountaineering ice axe on the market. It merges the hyperlight properties of aluminum construction with a Sandvik Nanoflex steel reinforced tip and spike for a solid grip on hard snow and ice. The steel components dramatically increase the performance of these critical points without significantly increasing the weight of the axe. The single-curve shaft provides extra clearance without interfering with walking or plunging performance. A lightweight nylon spike plug keeps snow out of the shaft. The grip is machined for good handling and a small slot in the head allows for seamless integration with the Corsa leash (sold separately).
Sandvik Nanoflex® is an innovative patented steel alloy that is 70% stronger and 20% harder than normal steel which allows for a significant reduction in the amount of metal used, thereby decreasing weight while maintaining strength.
A technical version of the Corsa with a single-curve shaft and Sandvik Nanoflex steel reinforced tip and spike for a solid grip on hard snow and ice
Designed for glacier travel and ski mountaineering

Voyager Helmet
$175
The Voyager is a ski mountaineering helmet designed to be compliant with ISMF regulations that require helmets to be dual certified for mountaineering (EN 12492) and alpine skiing (EN 1077 / B). The dual certification guarantees a higher level of safety for athletes especially from side impacts. To the meet the stringent EN 1077 / B standard, the Voyager uses in-mold construction with an extremely hard and impact-resistant ABS plastic shell.
The core interior is expanded polystyrene (EPS) that is reinforced with a layer of polycarbonate (PC) to help absorb shocks and further increase resistance. 17 openings in the shell are optimally positioned for maximum breathability. The breathable mesh padding can be interchanged with the included anti-sweat foam kit that includes the upper part for the head, pads for covering the adjustment dial, and a front part with two different thicknesses (5 mm and 10 mm) to fine-tune the fit. Earmuffs that can be attached and detached are also included making the Voyager a great helmet for all kinds of skiing. The keeper system for goggles or headlamp uses three pieces of elastic with hooks (one on each side and one on the back) for a lightweight, secure attachment. The system can be used while wearing gloves and without removing the helmet. The Voyager is also equipped with an internal RECCO® reflector making it traceable by mountain rescue operators equipped with RECCO® detectors (note: RECCO® technology does not replace an avalanche beacon in any way).
In-mold construction with ABS upper shell, EPS inner core, and lower protective PC layer
17 openings distributed throughout the shell for excellent ventilation
Removable fabric padding with breathable mesh

X-Dream Technical Ice Tool
$350
The X-Dream combines two tools in one – a fully optimized tool for technical ice and an aggressive dry tooling machine. This amazing ice axe not only features four different Technical (T) rated picks for various terrain, but it also incorporates a patented adjustment system in the handle to fine tune the swing and pull even further.
Use the allen bolt above the grip to switch between 'Dry' and 'Ice' positions. In the 'Dry' position, the handle kicks upward for a more down and out pull. The Ice position drops the handle for a more natural swing on ice. Climbers can further refine the X-Dream with micro-adjustable trigger finger ledges (choose from two inserts, the X-Finger Small or the X-Finger Large, that can be flipped over to adjust the position) and the X-Rest insert which adjusts the overall height of the handle. All four picks feature the refined beak and tooth configuration CASSIN tools are known for. The X-Dream comes standard with the Mixte pick.
Hyperlight, perfectly balanced, fully featured tool for technical dry, mixed and ice climbing
New multi-part head design with four pick options -- the Mixte and Ice picks can becombined with hammer or adze for amazing versatility
Comes standard with the Mixte pick; Ice, Race and Total Dry picks can be purchasedseparately
Ergonomic handle with patented adjustment system to change between Dry and Iceangles
The handle is constructed from extreme cold resistant polymer laid over the hot-forgedaluminum alloy spine
Micro-adjustable trigger finger ledges and X-Rest insert adjust the overall height and sizeof the handle
X-Trigger pommel attaches to the shaft for a third position
